Sony Playstation

Sony now supports custom emojis on PlayStation 5 (PS5) and PlayStation 4 (PS4) consoles, giving users the ability to use emojis in messaging features. Both consoles support the emoji standard version 13.1, allowing a wide range of modern symbols to be displayed when communicating between players. On PS5, for easier emoji input, there's a dedicated emoji keyboard accessible by pressing the L3 button (pressing the left stick) while sending a direct message to another user. This makes it simpler to select and insert emojis directly from the console. Meanwhile, PS4 does not offer direct access to an emoji keyboard through its interface, which limits the convenience of using emojis on that platform.

For more comfortable communication, Sony offers the PlayStation app for mobile devices, which includes a messaging feature. In this app, users can insert emojis using the built-in emoji keyboard of their smartphone or tablet, providing a more familiar and convenient way to chat with friends and the PlayStation community.
